Avatar In 2154, mankind has consumed all the earth’s resources, leading to a severe energy crisis. The Resources Development Administration (RDA) is the business which mines unobtanium. The company responsible for the depletion of Earth’s natural resources.
To study Pandora’s biosphere researchers use human-Na’vi hybrids, also known as “avatars”. They are genetically matched humans. Jake Sully is a former Marine paraplegic who takes over the duties of his twin brother, Jake Sully. Grace Augustine, the head of the Avatar Program considers Sully an insufficient replacement, but she recognizes his role as an bodyguard. Dr. Jake is attacked by the Pandoran wildlife , and is forced to flee to the woods. Neytiri, a Na’vi female, rescues him and brings him back to the family.
Colonel Miles Quaritch is the head of the RDA’s private security force and promises Jake that the organization will be able to get him back when they discover information about Na’vi and the clan’s gathering place, the massive tree known as Hometree  which looms over the largest unobtanium mine in the region. Grace finds out about this and gives Jake, Norm, and themselves to a post. In the next three months Jake and Neytiri are in love, as Jake begins to feel more connected to the natives. When Jake is initiated to the tribe and accepted as a member of the tribe as a member, Jake and Neytiri decide to be the mates. After a while, Jake reveals his change of allegiance following his attempt to stop a bulldozer, which threatens to demolish the sacred Na’vi site. Selfridge demands Hometree to be destroyed. Quaritch shows a video of Jake’s assault on the bulldozer [3939 ] and another where Jake declares that the Na’vi will never quit Hometree.
Grace declares that Hometree’s death could damage Pandora’s biological neural system. Selfridge offers Jake one hour to persuade Na’vi to leave before they begin the attack. Jake acknowledges to Na’vi that he is a spy and is captured and Grace hostage. The men of Quaritch are able to kill Hometree Neytiri’s father, as well as Hometree the clan’s chief as well as a host of others. Mo’at is able to free Jake and Grace however, they’re separated from their avatars and incarcerated by the troops of Quaritch. Pilot Trudy Chacon is horrified by the cruelty of Quaritch, and she frees Jake, Grace and Norm. She then transports Grace to her home. Quaritch shoots Grace, but she escapes.
To regain the Na’vi’s trust, Jake connects his mind to the mind of Toruk, an animal predator that is highly revered and honored by the Na’vi. Jake meets the refugees in the sacred Tree of Souls and pleads with Mo’at for the cure of Grace. The clan attempts to shift Grace from her body to her avatar with the assistance of the Tree of Souls, but Grace passes away before the process is completed. With the support of the new chief Tsu’tey Jake joins the clan and tells them to unite the clans in order to defeat the RDA. Quaritch plans an attack in advance against the Tree of Souls, believing that its destruction will discredit the natives. On the day prior to battle, Jake prays to Eywa through an emotional connection to the Tree of Souls, to pray on behalf of the Na’vi.
The Na’vi suffer serious injuries during the fight. However, they are helped by Pandoran animals who join the fight against the human race. Neytiri’s interpretation of Jake’s prayer. Jake manages to destroy the bomber before the Tree of Souls can reach them. Quaritch is able to escape the aircraft that has been damaged and finds the avatar link device which held Jake’s corpse. Quaritch exposes the avatar link device to the poisonous atmosphere of Pandora, and is about to cut Jake’s throat. However, Neytiri beats Quaritch by using two bows. Jake is then able to see his human body for the first time, and escapes from the wreckage of his plane.
Except for Jake and Norm Most people are banished from Pandora and returned to Earth. Jake is forever transformed by the Tree of Souls.
